IC Pancakes On The Rocks

Pancakes on the Rocks is an icon of Sydney. Through all travel books, Pancakes on the Rocks has been one of the places that tourist must visit. Established in 1975, with their specialty, pancakes and other dishes that have been added to the menu over the year can prove that they are Sydney’s favourite breakfast, lunch and dinner through their six branches in Sydney. They are rapidly expanding, with even a place in the Gold Coast. For eight years, they have won a Gold Award for Best Casual/Family Dining (2003-2011).

This is the famous ‘Devils Delight’ which is the most popular dish. It has very rich chocolate taste because of the chocolate pancakes, chocolate sauce and finally chocolate ice-cream.  A must try for any chocolate lover.

This is the counter of ‘Devils Delights’ as it is filled from top to bottom with everything that is strawberry related. It is absolutely amazing and a light taste than the rich chocolate.

Apart from sweets, they now offer food from the grill and pizza. All of their food is worth the try and will leave you coming back for more. Pick from the menu carefully and take many friends with you to share.

IC Guylian Belgian Chocolate Cafe

IC Guylian Belgian Chocolate Cafe
Chocolate is a true passion for Guylia.
Belgian chocolate is world-renowned and is synonymous with premium quality. Guylian uses only the finest ingredients. A unique blend of West-African cocoa beans lies at the basis of high quality Belgian chocolate made with 100% cocoa butter. Only the best hazelnuts from the Mediterranean are used for our own unique roasted hazelnut praline in the world famous Guylian chocolate seashells.

Today, icfood was coming to the Guylian Belgian Chocolate Café. It located at 91 George St Sydney, NSW the rocks.
Guylian Praline Brulee Tart is amazing, the chocolate hazelnut praline with the creamy fondant layer below - it's like a Belgium praline in a tart! The chocolate layer was quite rich so it was nice with the short tart and the creamy fondant layer.

Another special of Guylian is the Dark Chocolate. It does not like the normal hot choc, which came with a few pieces of dark chocolate in the cup. The hot chocolate was served in a separate jug. The taste of Dark Chocolate was smooth but not overly sweet, almost like drinking liquid Guylian dark chocolate.

IC Hurricane’s Grill

IC Hurricane’s Grill
Hurricane’s Grill is the one of the best modern Australian restaurants of Sydney, and it located on level 2 of the Harbourside Shopping Centre, home to many quality stores and eateries, the restaurant has excellent views of Cockle Bay and the city skyline.

Hurricane's Grill Darling Harbour restaurant has a modern and chic decor, with a mesmerizing harbour view that can be enjoyed from a number of different vantage points throughout the restaurant. It is the best place to be if you are looking for a Steakhouse restaurant in Darling Harbour where you can enjoy spectacular fireworks and major Darling Harbour events. And of course the best steak and ribs in town!

The ribs are fantastic, but if you are not feeling carnivorous, there are seafood, salads and a couple of vegetarian offerings. But people have come for red meat, charred and spiced and delivered in Neanderthal portions. Caveman manners are recommended, too, but for the pork ribs is highly, easily the most popular dish.

IC Phillip's Foote Restaurant

IC Phillip's Foote Restaurant
Phillip's Foote Restaurant is located at 101 George St, The Rocks NSW 2000. The name of restaurant was coming for Arthur Phillip who led the first fleet from England to Australia in 1788. He was one of the first white men to set foot on the shores of Sydney Cove, his mission, to set up a British penal colony.
Among convicts on board The Scarborough of the First Fleet was Joseph Tuzo whose descendant Howard Dredge helped establish Phillip's Foote in 1975.
The building formerly housed a sailors bar, customs agent and stable prior to standing derelict for many years until the early 1970's when during Sydney's notorious Green Bans, Phillip's Foote emerged to become what it still is today; an informal eatery with lots of colonial charm and good old fashioned Australian hospitality.

The characteristic of Phillip's Foote is you can cook your own food on the BBQs and help yourself to the salad bar and bread, and the pub is on the front of the restaurant.

This place is great for everyone including the family and dating people. At Phillip's Foote, you can not only enjoy the juicy steak and great food &fine, but also can enjoy the special view at the rock of Sydney. Therefore, icfood  highly recommend you must try Phillip's Foote Restaurant!

Some of the foods that we tried:

1. Akamaru Shinaji

The Akamaru Shinaji ramen is served with red bowl, while the Shiromaru Motoaji is served with white bowl. These 2 types of ramen are the most famous ramen from IPPUDO. We did try them both, and we personally liked the red bowl better than the white one. However, both ramen are very famous and must try items from Ippudo.

2. Ippudo Pork Bun

This braised pork fillet with Ippudo's special sauce, covered with a slice of lettuce and super fluffy bun, is another must-try menu in Ippudo restaurant.

3. Sauteed Tasmanian Salmon

Salmon with maitre d' butter with an accent of Japanese shiso accompanied by seasonal vegetables. This dish is only served during dinner time, and we really enjoyed the dish, the salmon was cooked and grilled perfectly, the special butter was awesome and the vegetables were fresh and delicious. Another great dish from Ippudo.

Above is the layout of the Chocolate Ganache when served to your table. The waiter then will pour a cup of hot chocolate sauce on top of that big chocolate ball, which will softly melt and crack the ball. Inside the ball, there is a dulce le leche ice cream, and peanut butter mouse, topped with the cracked chocolate ball and the dripping chocolate sauce. Heavenly taste.
